The
Denali Adventure 2005
This is a snowmobile adventure through the beautiful and scenic heart of the Alaska range. Northern Lights, wildlife, glaciers, Mount McKinley, and historic lodges.
Trail Plan: 440 miles
March 31 - April 3, 2005
- Day 1. March 31. Trailer 210 miles to the trail head at our cabin in Cantwell, Alaska. Today the trail will take us east through a broad valley in the heart of the Alaska
Range. Snow capped mountains, glaciers, wildlife and a beautiful Alaska lodge will highlight a great day of exploring. 120 miles.
- Day 2. April 1. Today we will explore the Maclaren River Valley. Views of mountains, glaciers and wildlife. Don’t forget your camera! After dinner, enjoy a hot soothing
sauna and watch for the Northern Lights. 100 miles.
- Day 3. April 2. After a good Alaskan breakfast, we will travel the trail to an old historic roadhouse. After lunch we will ride up and view the famous Alaska Pipeline that
flows crude oil 800 miles across Alaska. Spectacular mountains, glaciers and a chance to see wildlife. We will take a different route back to the lodge for dinner, a sauna, and northern lights viewing. 100 miles.
- Day 4. April 3. More beautiful mountain scenery as we ride back to Cantwell. Daily milage 120. We will trailer back to Anchorage and your final departure destination.
Package price $1695.00 U.S. per person
Adventure includes snowmobile rental, riding gear, fuel, lodging, food, guide service, shuttle service, and fun!
