The
Iron Dog Adventure 2005
We will depart Willow, Alaska on our trusty Iron Dogs (snowmachines) and make tracks along the historic Iditarod Trail. The trail was used a century ago as a supply route to the gold
fields of interior Alaska. We will pass through the beautiful Alaska range in the shadow of Denali (Mount McKinley - North America’s tallest peak). The twisty wooded trail will give way to the mighty Yukon River. We will follow
the route of spawning Alaska Salmon as we head up river to our final destination in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Trail Plan: 1000 miles
